I probably don't use these for the "typical" purpose of hanging stuff in the shower (I have in the past, though). I thought of a creative use for them. I built a frameless polycarbonate dome in my yard, and I love it! But because it is frameless, with only smooth panels on the outside, it's been hard to attach things to the outer surface. I used these hooks to attach the santa hat decoration (it was a modified red tarp) and an insulated door cover (using bungee cords to grab onto the hook ends). In case you're wondering, these suction cups can withstand even hurricane winds, amazing! These winds even threw around some lawn furniture, but the bungees and tarp stood firmly against the dome. It has been like this in 100 degree summer heat as well as crusted over with ice and snow. Smaller hooks popped off and were a waste of money, ended up replacing all of them with a dozen of these. As a tip, I recommend cleaning off the surface with alcohol and then a squirt of windex or dishwasher detergent residue (just a tiny bit to hold it). Also, please understand that these will not have full strength if your surface is even a tiny bit porous--for example, an ordinary painted house wall will not work as well. The polycarbonate panels are completely smooth, similar qualities as glass except less fragile.

To make this short and sweet, these suction cups are just the right size and they stay in place. Good product.

My family and I moved into a new apartment almost three months ago. There isn't much room to set things down in our shower so I was looking for ways to keep things organized but that also had functionality. I put these suction cups up the day we moved in and they haven't budged! No slipping, falling - nothing!! I followed the instructions to a "T" so I'd get the best result. Granted, loofahs aren't heavy, but my husband uses bar soap in the dark green sleeve and we put 2 bars in each time so there is weight to that one. Still, these suction cups have held like a beast! There is also one in my daughter's shower as well and she said hers is still working perfectly. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants to keep loofahs and other hangable items off the bottom of the bathtub or off the side shelf in the shower.

I got these for inside my shower. 3 of them work great. The other 1 falls off after about 5 minutes and it's holding NOTHING!

I accidentally way over paid and ordered these. Spent way more than I ever would have on a suction cup but they are very strong and can hold up anything needed.
