This product works great when the unit flare on the lineset is scratched or not sealing properly. it provides a gasket to seal the tiny leaks. we have used it several times and always fixed the issue.

I had a small leak in my mini-split so I did a combination of flare fittings, Leak Saver, and Nylog Blue. Not sure if all three were needed, but it did the trick. These flare fittings were very easy to use and wish I had used them the first time the system was put together.

Great kit, worth every penny and a must for new installs. Don't let your guys have you chasing your tail, get them these and teach them to not over tighten

Bought these and installed in my DIY mini-split project, thinking it would be a perfect way to assure good seals in my line set connections. Unfortunately, I spent the next 3 months trying to find slow leaks in my system. After re-reading the negative reviews, I decided to remove all of the seals and reconnected the fitting2 using the tried and true method of Nylon Blue and traditional copper flare to brass, and like all the other disappointed reviewers discovered, I no longer have leaks. My advice is; DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THESE EXPENSIVE SEALS!

Probably my fault but it's not obvious in the description or the cost but these are only the O rings, there are no brass fittings included, for the price I very much expected the brass flare nuts and fittings.

I have bought all kinds of products in my life, but few were worse than this. It became apparent after installation that these were causing leaks in my system so I removed them all - or at least I thought I did. After 3 years of chasing a leak, causing me to lose coolant year after year - shocker - I found two of these on one zone. Removed them - poof - leak gone. Not sure how these have the rating that they do. They are straight trash. Just buy Nylog blue and be done with it.

Doesn’t help the seal. Couldn’t get it to even thread over it because it’s too thick

I'd really have liked it if they'd have labeled the little zip loc bags inside the container, as many sizes (eg 3/8 and 1/2) look very similar, and once you've used some up, you may not be sure which ones you have left, so you find yourself using trial and error to figure it out.
