More accurate heading and position
Before adding this antenna, I was running just the internal gps on my garmin 1243xsv. I went from a 10-15 ft margin of error of my location at any given time (at minimum) down to 2-4 feet. Outstanding. Must have if you plan on running radar, spot lock, etc.
