Best garden box I ever found!
As you can see, I stacked the sides for a smaller, taller garden box for these roses. I was looking for something inexpensive for the front yard and these were perfect!! The beauty of these, is that you're not confined to a specific pattern or design like you would be with a more expensive wooden box. You might think that these are flimsy and they won't work, but I was very surprised by how sturdy they are once you put them where you want them and fill them up. If you're looking for a planter box, start here!!

Nice quality, quick to set up, sturdy, good value
I just set this up in my desert back yard near Phoenix, AZ, and it was quick and easy. I bought two sets so I could stack them, and installation couldn't have been simpler. I usually have someone else do this kind of thing for me, but this time I got out there myself, leveled the spot, put the first set down, pushed in the plastic spikes, then set up the second set on top. My only hesitation is that the spikes are weak. If you're trying to push them into anything harder than soft soil, good luck. I should have thought ahead and bought some tall metal spikes. I could still do that, and it would be a good improvement. But these plastic ones worked fine for me once I dug down a bit. Whether the plastic boards will hold up to the ferocious Arizona summer sun, we'll see - it's against a south-facing wall, next to my other (plastic, different brand) raised bed. I'd definitely buy this set again and recommend it.

BEGINER LEVEL - GOOD STARTER VALUE
I bought 2 sets on my 1st order, and 1 set on my second. I wasn't sure what I was going to do when I ordered so wasn't sure how much I would need. I found right away this was easy to assemble, however it will not be a long lasting solution. Which is fine for me. I rent a condo with a small yard. I wouldn't recommend that anyone that owns their property go with this unless you are just experimenting with getting a garden started. It is very versatile, you can build it up as much as you think is necessary for what you want to grow, and you can create almost any shape that you want if you have enough sets. I created a U shape against my fence for my salsa bed so I can get to the taller Tomato plants, I'm kind of a short and round woman. I didn't want to be leaning over anything. Thought it would help save my back too. Anyway, I can tell already that this bed will not last through more than 1-2 season. However, I am going to order at least 2 more sets because, like I said, I'm a renter. I don't anticipate being my condo more than 2 more years so this is going to work for me.

I gave it a one-star review because it's made of cheap plastic.
When I removed it from the box it looked pretty decent and as I was working on installing it I realized that it's hollow plastic with nothing to hold the ends to the actual planks. So after getting frustrated and putting multiple pieces back together, I then realized that the plastic stakes that hold it in place are made of yet again, very cheap quality plastic. After damaging several of the stakes, I got the idea to grab my drill with a large drill bit and I literally drilled pilot holes into my yard. That technique worked the best. So I decided not to return the other couple of kits that I had purchased. So basically pre-drill your lawn and drop the stakes in and the dirt will settle to hold it securely after the next rain. And you might want to go ahead and glue the ends of the planks in like I did because otherwise it's going to be very unstable.

Surprisingly Great!
What I like best about this style of bed is the price. I have other beds made out of metal that I like but they were very expensive. For what I needed, (a defined border) these were perfect. I have 3 sets and am actually considering a few more. I have mine configured into rectangles. But I did play around with them just to see if the stacked version was viable. Yes they are. I am impressed with the simplicity of this system. Maybe not as good as a metal bed but truly better than my first wooden beds that rotted away quickly. For the money I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

This is not worth the money
I bought this thinking it was in expensive and easy to put together. I thought that I could use a second set to extend or make it higher. I ended up purchasing 2 of these, but they were a waste of money.I found this hard to put together. The connectors slide out of the plastic boards. The spikes that go into the ground are also plastic and bend if the ground is not really soft. Also because they move easily and the connectors slip out of the boards it is hard to make the box connect at all 4 corners. Making other shapes is even harder.I found it very flimsy. I am sorry that I bought this. I do not recommend this at all.

Great raised beds
I really like these! I ordered 2 and will be getting a couple more. I put my first one together and it was so easy & the spikes went in our hard Georgia red clay with no problems. The pic has 10 strawberry plants, 22 garlic, 2 lettuce & 1 basil plant. Its a lot bigger than I expected & good sturdy quality. Need 2 more though, 1 for carrots & 1 for onions. They are hard to grow in the Georgia red clay.

Quick and Simple
This was very handy for my impulsive decision to plant a garden! The stakes are a bit flimsy for our hard AZ dirt, so my husband sawed off the bottom parts and I just used the top half to hold the slats together. Works fine. I bought two sets and made a deeper bed and a shallow bed. All my plants seem happy and the bed is holding up well. Would recommend.
