Perfect for Acrylic paint pouring!
I bought this to mix with acrylic paint and start doing paint pours. It works really well! The colors don't dull at all and are exactly like they looked. I did a 3:1 ratio of Floetrol: Acrylic paint for the colors and 4:1 for the background color (I used white).Quick drying and it is so affordable! This gallon sized jug is going to last me a longggg time!I also am going to be experimenting with my house paints to thin it out a little. Will definitely be purchasing again!

Great for Pour Painting
I ordered this product but really did not know how to use it so it sat around for a bit. Then when I did start using it in my pour paintings I found out how well it really worked. The ease of application is so much better then Elmer,s glue and water. The quality is good and it lasts a long time for me. Its not sticky and is easy to clean up. I'm on my 4th jug. I will continue to use this product.

Works as advertised!
This worked great! Was using a very durable enamel for interior doors... needed much thinning. Floetrol helped the paint level and prevented the HVLP spray gun from clogging between coats! i don't leave many reviews, but his product was worthwhile.

Liquid not delivered in upright position and poorly packaged.
The product is a good product. Liquids should be shipped in a box in the upright position to avoid spillage. A previous order the itemLeaked out. There is barely in packaging to cushion the liquid as you can see.

Floetrol
I got this for acrylic pour painting and it works great! This amount will last awhile as a little goes a long way. I'd suggest exploring and experimenting with it. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT price point, I will be getting more as my skills improve. It doesn't alter the color as yo don't need much to activate cells in your painting.

Wow -- old dog, new tricks
Very experienced DIY'er here. Been painting and refinishing various things for a lot of years. Can't believe it took me this long to discover this stuff.I'm working on a big built-in cabinet project. All scratch built. Started painting some of it with sprayer because I didn't want brush or roller marks. But what a nuisance that sprayer is. Wastes paint, takes way too long to set up, gotta put up plastic everywhere, takes too much space to do the spraying. And the CLEANUP -- yuck -- takes forever!I've got a lot of painting left to do on these cabinets. About twelve feet wide by nine feet high. Need to paint the cabinet interiors, face frames, shelves, and 20 doors. So I started Googling to see if I could find a way to paint by hand without leaving brush or roller marks. I found mention of Floetrol on a forum somewhere. Dug further. Bought some. Figured I'd try it on a few of the adjustable shelves to see if I could avoid hauling out the sprayer and all that plastic sheeting for the rest of the project.Just tried it. Shelves were already painted with primer and sanded. Added eight oz of Floetrol to a little less than a gallon of Sherwin Williams Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex Paint (semigloss). Definitely need to make sure you mix up the Floetrol itself -- very gloppy. Then when I added to the paint, I mixed the heck out of it with the paint mixer drill attachment. Used Ace best quality small (4" x 3/8" nap) white woven paint roller to spread the paint. I was pretty generous with the amount I applied.Great news: looks like it was sprayed. No trace of a roller mark. Nice, smooth, uniform coverage. No need to do another coat either. I do think the resulting finish is a little less glossy than it would have been without the Floetrol, but definitely worth it.With so much more painting to do on this project, I'm very glad I found Floetrol. Saved from the sprayer!

Great product
I was a bit hesitant to buying this product because in the initial picture of product on Amazon showed a gallon container but as you scrolled down the page it only showed a quart size unless you bought two gallons. That was a bit confusing, but in reviews a couple said they received the gallon container so I ordered it to see what would arrive. Happily I did get the gallon container. This is the best buy I have come across for this product. I had been paying over $10 for a quart, and those who di sell the gallon containers were asking any where from $27.00 -$57.00 , so this is much more economical.Product was delivered much quicker than I expected. The container was wrapped in plastic to keep leaks from getting in the box I had to clean the outside of container and approx. A third of liquid had leaked out because of a bad seal under the cap, but the container was easily cleaned under hot water, and having it wrapped in plastic helped contain the leakage, so I appreciated that. The cap just needs tightened down before packaging.Other than this small inconvenience I will definitely buy this product again as long as it's available.
