This does the job. Takes a little time longer than wheel type but is not as scary. Don't press hard, the abrasive will last longer. Good for home use

Im surprised at how strong this product is. I have dressed alit of grinding wheels already and not a bit of wear is showing yet

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this because it was a stone and not metal with abrasion placed on it. This stone is the greatest. It wears down slowly and does a great job of cleaning both my fine and medium grinding wheels on my bench grinder. I would recommend this to anyone. Do not bother with the steel dressing bars.
