Simple and safe way to disconnect curcuit.
An easy to install disconnct switch. Knob turns easily with little effort, remains in position selected. Can be installed in multiple positions. No more disconnecting wires to interrupt circuit.

Not the prettiest shutoff, but great for the money
Paired this with a 2AWG 18" cable, and install was a snap. I drilled a 1/2" hole in the bottom of my plastic battery box and ran the 2awg cable through that. Its other end has a small drip loop and curves up into the switch. The trailer's black wire then just connects to the switch's other post. Mounting the switch to the box was simple enough. All the included hardware was high quality. The switch isn't gorgeous by any means, and it's not the most satisfying switch to throw, like some can be. But honestly, battery boxes aren't that pretty either. Function and value dominate form here and it works.

This switch disconnects my 2000 Watt Inverter from the power source, battery pack, in my Solar Generator!

Best way to stop draining your battery when not in use
I bought this to use on my small A Frame pop up trailer and it works great. I store my trailer in my garage and sometimes I would for get to turn something off and I would hear something turning on inside my trailer. I would have to disconnect my battery on the trailer to shut everything off as I didn't want to have to pull the trailer out of the garage to open it and enter the trailer to turn off a switch. With this shut off switch mounted next to my battery box on the tong I simply turn the switch off which turns off all power to the trailer. This all so prevents any battery drainage while in storage.
