One of the most beautiful books I have
I purchased this to keep in my prayer room. I have it propped open to a different verse every week so that when any of us go in, we can read the verse and reflect on it. All the illustrations are so colorful and beautiful. It just brings so much peace to my heart and mind.

Great quality book with amazing artwork and select verses from the Bhagavad Gita. You could spend hours going over the artwork.

Stunningly Beautiful Illustrations and Clever Summary of the Gita
Beautiful book. I bought this having been shown the brand new version by my teacher. The brand new one has a 6 week lead time for delivery and I didn't want to wait that long. This is a fabulous item for any age, the illustrations are glorious and it very cleverly summaries the essence of the Gita. A lovely addition to my collection of Gitas and one that I regularly refer to for inspiration.

Amazing illustrations but cultural representation absent
Beautiful illustrations. When focusing on Indian deities, it is better not to make their facial features and skin colour European. For historical accuracy, refer to earliest depictions. Most readers may be Hindu children/adults and thus people of colour. It is important for them to feel represented and honoured. Post mughal and British era, much artwork of deities had their skin colour and facial features altered to reflect the invading cultures. This has left a dangerous impression on Indians and many resort to ourchasing skin bleaching products. It is very important for Indian children to be racially represented.

Beautiful and high quality
This is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever seen. Very lovely and inspiring even for the art alone.
