Great product, well made, a little tricky to install.
A safety feature you should do without if you own a pool.works great ...a pain to install. Took most of day...but worth it. Most homes that have a pool are now required to use this type of latch for a c/o if you are selling. I was sorry I waited to sell my home to install this. Super great latch if you have little ones..you can never be too safe with a,pool and children so get it!!

Needed to attach to round pole fence and gate
This worked perfectly to adapt the Series 3 Magna-Latch to my 4 foot chan link fence. It's a shame that this is so expensive for what it is. It's just plastic. Without this kit you cannot attach the magna-latch to a round fence pole. They know they have you by the b@lls and they are capitalizing on that which I don't care for. Otherwise this latch it very stout and work much better than my previous push down style latch.

Plastic crap. A joke for keeping anything safe
We were under the impression this would be metal but were very disappointed that it was cheap plastic. We bought this thi king it would be a good solution to a very smart german shepherd who knows how to open the gate. This was cheap plastic unfit to keep a dog or a child safe. The bar is sold separately so we couldnt have used it if we wanted. Complete ripoff and we returned it asap.

Never Fail To Latch!
Great Product ! Bought 2 of these to keep small ones safely out of pool area. Top of latch to open the gate is 58" high. Small ones can't reach it. Combined with D&D Truclose Hinge, the gates SELF CLOSE and LATCH every time. Again, EVERY TIME!!!! Never worry again that someone forgot to latch the gate.

Probably good for most situations.
I bought two of these kits to adapt the MagnaLatches to my pool gates. One fit the gate and fence tubing perfectly but on my second gate, the tubing was a smaller diameter than standard and the kit didn't include an adapter for that size. I did manage to mount the latch anyway and it has held up for most of one season so far.
