Does the job!
Put this in place months ago to try to save a small spot in my hellstrip that kept washing out. Totally did the job and is still in place, which allowed me to grow a ground cover in that will hopefully help the erosion even more.

Works well, and easy to roll out.
Used on the bank of lake frontage, and now grass is growing there, holding the soil and preventing erosion.

Great for large dog creating muddy mess
Our new rescue puppy is now 63lbs. The wet snow & rain, along with her running the yard like a horse has destroyed our backyard grass, leaving a mudd pit. It took longer than anticipated to install because I had to tie the ends to keep it from raveling. I planted grass seed under the mat before securing with lawn staples. Hours after the install it started raining and hasn't stopped. Our puppy, Bella, ran out to inspect the new runway-lol. She actually liked it because she kept running on it instead of the surrounding mud.The mat stayed in place and I can already tell it will decrease muddy Bella paws. I obviously need to purchase more for other parts of the lawn. I used 100 lawn staples to secure the mat.

Sturdy. Easy install.
I used this on an eroded hillside, placing this on top of a new layer of newly seeded dirt, and fixed it in place with plastic stakes (which I will someday remove). It is woven with sturdy jute--more like small ropes than like twine. It could be tossed around a bit without getting all tangled up, which some seed mats are subject to. It cut easily with a tin snips. It is subject to a little unraveling at the cut end, but it was not bad. The length was more like 50 feet than the advertised 60 feet, but perhaps if it is stretched taut it comes closer to 60 feet. It is a full 4 feet wide. It has some kerosene smell, but in a wide open area that was not an issue. I want the hillside to get covered with any vegetation that will prevent erosion. The netting will do the job until then. I'm not looking for this area to be a fine yard; if this were to be my front yard I would probably look for some finer material. The 20-yard version does not come as a roll--it is folded up, which works better for shipping. However, you may need to completely unfold it in order to cut to size, or to install. I assume the longer version (75 yards) must come in a roll; or else it would be a bear to deal with.

Actually Works !!!!!!!
I have a 40 foot long hill along the side of my house that drops around ten feet down slope that was a constant issue with erosion. We had soil brought in via skid stear into the back yard down this hill and it churned up the soil on the slope …a lot. In desperation, I bought this material in an attempt to stabilize the surface. After laying out the material, I topped it with a thin layer of pine straw. This was completed 2 months ago. In the last 48 hours, as a result of hurricane Helene, we had 13 inches of rain. Result? No erosion at all. Worked perfectly. Could not be more satisfied.

An absolute game changer!
This stuff was exactly what I needed and had no idea. For two years, I tried to get something to grow at the base of this tree in the strip by the street. It’s not at a huge angle, but enough that with every rain, and some sprinkler usage, all the topsoil and seed that I was planting just washed away. This completely held all of the dirt in place, but it also held moisture in place well after the watering was done or the rain had passed and kept the seeds moist. Unfortunately, I had overcompensated by over-sewing everything I wanted to grow there since nothing had ever germinated that I had sewn before. The germination rate has to be somewhere around 80% thanks to this stuff, and now I’m going to have to learn how to thin seedlings for the first time. It’s an excellent value for the money, and has really changed my direct sewing game for any portion of my yard because of its ability to hold moisture for my seeds.

Small
It sure doesn’t measure the same as their dimensions! Hoping it gets the job done.

Good product, sent wrong amount
This is a good netting and will work well for erosion, but it said it was 120' long and the roll i got was only 50'. Would be 5 stars if they sent what was advertised and paid for.
