Worth every penny!
I had a completely seized and stripped 8mm hex head plug in my 2JZ block. I needed the plug removed so I could run my water to air oil cooler. Almost immediately on attempting to remove the plug, the internal hex stripped (25 years in the block). I tried EVERYTHING (heat, penetrant, hammers, bigger plugs, wobble hex, torx, double hex, etc.) to no avail. My efforts succeeded in totally mangling the inside of the plug. Checked Amazon for extractors and this had the best overall reviews, especially with heavily seized bolts. I put a tiny bit of lube, hammered in the closest size extractor, and it tightened in the plug which was very seized. Applied about 75-100 lb ft of torque and broke the plug loose. Took literally less than one minute. The extractor is undamaged and I don't have to spend a ton of time and money trying other methods (e.g. drilling the plug, welding, etc.).Pros:High quality caseMarked extractor sizesGood for severely seized hex bolts (results would obviously vary)Amazing price for this many extractors1 day free shipping (Prime)Cons:Case will get dirty because its yellow and not a darker colorI almost never do product reviews. This tool set saved my butt and I highly recommend it.

Great Addition to Your Tool Box
These extractors are extremely useful. Small increments in sizing ensures you will find the perfect size for the job. I did twist one off with a 3/8" drive socket. I learned that these seem to be case hardened, meaning soft inside, but the working surface is very hard. They bite really well, and I believe the working surface will hold up well, even under frequent use. Just be advised that they aren't indestructible, you can overpower them if pushed too far. I had an unusually tight (frozen from galvanic corrosion) set screw. Under most conditions, these will be very effective and extremely useful.

Broke on my first use.
I seldom write 1 star reviews. Matter of fact I can’t remember the last time I did so.Just hoping this review will help others.I bought this kit because I needed to extract a bolt that snapped off in a steering knuckle. Drilled it out as big as possible without compromising the walls. These extractors punched in very easily. Just a couple quick light taps with the handle of a screwdriver and it was secure. I started to crank it counter clockwise and it bit into the bolt very nicely. I was impressed up to this point.I then used a rachet and started the precedure and felt in my hand a slight twist and bam, extractor broke off. This was just done with a rachet, by hand. I wonder if an impact wrench would have been better? Maybe not. I can understand if I was using an extension bar, but wasn’t.As you all know, once an extractor is broken off in a bolt, the problem just got 10 times worse. I ended up just buying a new steering rack and swapping that.So now I’m stuck with an extractor set with one broken size. I suppose the others will be put to use when the time comes, but I’d be hesitant to even use these. So just a heads up, if the bolt you’re working on isn’t seized (mine was yes, but I had PB Blaster soaked it overnight and also used torch and candle wax on it), then maybe these will work. But if it’s seized, spend the extra money on a more trust worthy product. It’ll save you extra headache. Good luck!

Worked
I had a allen bolt stripped out on my miter saw. It was in a corner of sorts on miter fence, so my options were limited. I tried everything I knew and everything I could youtube. Nothing worked. I looked at several different extractor sets and decided on this one. After a week of procrastinating about it out of fear of some how messing it up worse, I tried it. It worked. So simple and easy. If I have any complaints at all, it would be the case mine came in. It doesn't line up correctly when I try to close it but it will close. Right now it's in the tool chest on the bottom of the drawer beneath other tool cases in hopes of never needing it again. I have already recommended to so friends.
