Sugar-Free Psyllium Husk Fiber Powder, Vanilla Flavored 19 oz

Not as sweet as Metamucil, but tasty… for a fiber powder. Takes a couple mins to truly dissolve.

This stuff works great until you take it through security at the airport. For whatever reason, TSA felt the need to swab the container for explosives and it tested positive. Not sure what is in this to be able to flag their machines. Highly recommend just don’t let TSA test it.

WARNING Does not mix well with water, clumpy nasty mess. Strange orange flavor extremely unappetizing. Company refuses to refund any product. Thought I’d try something different but this was a huge mistake. Disappointed, tried it since it was sugar-free but the sweetener used is heavy and comprises most the weight. Expensive sweetener.

I'm so bummed. I had to stop taking the popular major brand of psyllium because I developed a food sensitivity to citrus. Thought I found a perfect replacement in this - it is very tasty! After taking it and getting the familiar symptoms, I read the label. The vanilla flavor has lemon in it. I never would have guessed. Lesson learned.

I like the berry flavor and enhance it with a little bit of Stevia. Very tasty.

It doesn't taste ANYTHING like chocolate to me. It has a sickly sweet flavor; both the smell and aftertaste are disappointing and off-putting to me. I've even wondered if it's the wrong flavor in the container.The main reason I got it was in hopes that I could add fiber to my chocolate milk; the flavor doesn't work at all. :'(I've tried mixing it in water (as instructed), milk, chocolate milk, hot chocolate, and even grape kool-aid. I'm going to try it with more fruit-flavored water enhancers, because it ruins anything chocolate and it's gross with just water.

I wanted to try something different from Metam's orange equivalent. I gave this a try and was not impressed - does not mix well, clumps up, and is the same price. Will be going back to Metam or a generic brand for my daily fiber needs...

The good thing about this powder is there is no sugar and no real taste. As with all fiber powders, it does not stay completely dissolved in water after mixing by hand. This is not a defect on the product. It's the natural properties of fiber powder not to mix well with water. It's designed to be consumed quickly. If you use a blender, it would likely dissolve better and longer.
