Excellent First Stage Filter
I'm absolutely thrilled with my iSpring filter installation. Being on a private well, we had our state test our water and it passed with flying colors. However, we had a particulate problem that frequently clogged faucet aerators and caused problems with our ice maker.I researched a variety of systems and read reviews that often cited leakage problems; sometimes several months after the installation. Upon closer evaluation, it was obvious some systems were simply not designed robustly enough. The iSupply system we decided to buy is designed VERY well. Even the plumber I contracted was surprised by what he called "industrial quality."The installation was a breeze and having a clear spin-down filter in the front of the system is perfect. It is very easy to clean and see if sediment or scaling is present. After this photo was taken I ran a 3/8" surgical hose to the nearby laundry sink to make it even easier. As a precaution, I had the plumber install a valve system that would enable me to bypass / totally drain the filter system as a precaution. What made this whole process particularly easy and pleasant is the quality and responsiveness of iSuppy's technical support. I worked closely with John who helped me specify the system and quickly corrected me when I sent him a drawing of how I intended to install. As John advised, it is critical to install the filter system on a well supply after the pressure tank. This complicated my installation somewhat and is the reason I decided to contract a professional plumber, but it is necessary to maximize the life of the well pump.Thank you VERY much for providing a high quality system and even more for your wonderful customer support!

Why wouldn't you
I spent $1,000 on a water softner to help protect everything downstream. Why not put one of these in first to help protect the water softner and everything downstream? Smart investment.

Great quality and performance
Our new home in the country was not fitted with a filter of any type for the well water. Sadly all filtering was done by the water softener. This is just not right and will reduce the lifespan of our softener and your hot water heater. So, I installed the WSP-50. The install was easy - ensure you have the tools before you start, use 8+ teflon tape wraps or you will have drips, etc. I used PEX for the supply in my case and it has worked great. The product is as shown, is solidly designed and built, and easy to work with. Spin down filters are awesome and last a long time before you need to purchase a new filter cartridge. In my case, 50 was too small and clogged up faster than expected. I have since installed a WSP-100 in front of it coming from the well with good success. Brian at 123filter.com was fantastic at helping me select the proper filter mesh size and provided quick and polite responses. The customer service was more than expected and an added bonus to a great product. I highly recommend this for those on wells or even those on municipal water. My suggestion is to make contact with iSpring (123filter.com) and Brian to ensure you select the proper micron mesh and product. They have a wide range of devices. In time I intend on installing a whole home filter from iSpring as well. Awesome product guys and great support.

iSpring WSP-50
I rarely write reviews but I feel that I must share my experience with other buyers. I installed the filter about a year ago. The installation was easy and the filter worked great! We noticed a big difference (positive) in our water quality. Last month I was about to clean the filter, but noticed that I could not locate the removal tool. It had been a couple months since I last used it. I posted a question in the questions section about how I could go about ordering a replacement tool and the folks at iSpring responded quickly! Francis worked with me behind the scenes and shipped out a new tool to me at no cost! This is outstanding customer service! I highly recommend the product and the company! Buy with confidence!

Works perfect to screen sand sediment, Easy to install and maintain, A+
Works perfectly, we used to have small sand come through our well water which would clog up our shower and taps, and leave sand in the tub. After installing this we have 0 sand in any of our fixtures or tub, and it's very easy to back flush clean. Well built, great quality, highly recommended.
