I had clear tunes. They end up getting clogged with alge growth. Black inhibits alge growth. Clear are great for hiding lines in decore but need to be replaced a lot due to alge growth where the black lines dont.

Much more flexible and easier to slip over fittings than the normal clear hose

Just installed it, seems good it’s very soft and flexible I’d prefer it slightly more rigid. The softness made cutting it with a moderately sharp scissor a chore. Beyond that I have a black background so it blends in perfect can’t see the tubing. It’s holding whether I go full blast or even closed for the price and how much you get I’d recommend it for air tubing. (update, it keeps coming detached. Multiple times I’ve found my air stone not pushing air bubbles and I investigate and the tubing has cone off somewhere, typically from the check valve, also once seemed it flattened out near the pump. I assume this has to do with how soft it is, as I have another clear standard air tubing and I’ve never had this issue in fact the clear tubing is basically impossible to get off without a lot of force or just cutting it. My suggestion if you buy this is make sure your cuts are clean, push the tubing as far onto something maybe even slightly heat it so it expands to get it further on, or try another product.)
