It's my 3rd Golf Buddy. Helps me know my distances so, I know what club to use. It's +/- range but close enough. Without it , I'm not as surefooted.

Not for the hard of hearing!
If you are hard of hearing the sound needs to be turned all the way up! For the price it's a good deal and I have found it to be fairly accurate. Since it can be clipped anywhere it very convenient.

Operation of device
Good item. Instructions need to be much clearer. A friend has this item. One must push the button to get the voice to tell u, for example the tee distance, then how far the next distance and so on. The instructions were not that clear to me.

When it wotks, it’s awesome. Didn’t work for long.
I’m only giving this 3 stars because when they work they’re great. I love that it takes into account elevation. But when they are always on the wrong hole, or the right hole with the wrung distance (off by hundreds of yards), it gets very frustrating. This last one I bought only worked for a few rounds before issues started. One has lasted over a year no issues, and one about 6 months. I did all the troubleshooting and it always goes on the fritz after a few holes. I have 2 so I know if it’s GPS issues since they are on the same hole, next to each other.
