This works very well as the lysine component is a well known and effective remedy and who wouldn't want increased immune health? However, the garlic and oregano make this hard to swallow (pun intended) early in the morning. I swallow without breathing with a good amount of water and then a quick mouthful of breakfast and 8 out of 10 times, I don't taste the savory aspect! But it really works so I will buy it again.

This product is amazing! I get really bad cold sores almost every other month if not more and they would last for 10-17 days before fully going away. I get really bad ones that come as one bump at first and then a couple tiny ones would form around it. Once the main big one goes through the flaking stage some way or another i'd still have a few still in their blistering stage. I finally had enough and found the HRP-AID pills and it has made a difference!!! I haven't had one pop up in over three months now. I take them once a week if not once every two weeks. I haven't felt the tingling ever since, on top of that these pills are easy to swallow and don't really have a smell to them. Over all I am quite satisfied with this product and would recommend it for people who struggle with cold sores!

I bought this product as a prevention for cold sores so I take it when I feel one coming on. So far it has been doing wonderfully at keeping them at bay. When I do get them this does prevent them from fully forming which is a godsend for me. I did try taking them as a daily supplement but after being inconsistent I found this way has worked best for me. They are easy to swallow and I am fond of garlic so I do not mind the taste but I could see others not liking it. I feel like this is a worthwhile purchase for anyone suffering from cold sores.

I started taking 4 pills a day, 2 in the morning and 2 at night. After about a week of taking them the outside of my neck broke out in an itchy rash. Also I had a very sore throat, it was so bad I thought I had strep, so I got tested. The results came back negative so I decided to remove any new factors from my life. Two days after I stopped taking the pills the rash stopped growing and my throat stopped hurting.I don’t recommend buying vitamins or supplements that are not FDA approved. I’m not even a stickler for the FDA however when you’re putting something inside your body you have to be sure of what the results/side of effects will be. Be careful!
