Yes, this is expensive but it really works with faster results! Plus, a very small amount is all you need so this should last a long time. I am using this for just very dry and chapped winter hands and it is working wonders. No cracks, no painful dry skin. Just a note, the product is purple in the jar but the color goes away on the skin. There seem to be only natural ingredients. There is a wonderful smell, but not from a chemical fragrance being added, just the different smells from the ingredients. To me it smells like I just walked into a house where wonderful things have been cooking for hours (I can definitely smell the rosemary, along with other nice things I can't pick out).UPDATE 2 Dec 2016: Wow!
