Cheap Conversion Technology, at a cost of poor build quality
This product does work with my VCR Player and the audio is okay for something like this, especially on the price that it is in. However, I only recommend this for only being a stop gap or a temporary item because this thing is not going to last long because this is prone to breaking once you plug it into your player of choice. The non-pin part of the SCART Connector broke off the converter immediately when I unplugged it from the VCR, and it wasn't unplugged by force as I had to be gentle with it as it was brand new but it still broke regardless. The pins still worked but there is also a risk of the pins being loose and getting stuck in the player, which is why I only recommend buying it if it is last resort or a temporary item. There's also a possibility that this converter might not work with RGB Signals as this item is a Composite Input and Output which isn't compatible with RGB signals. So if you're using a device or console that only outputs in RGB, it will not output any signals with this converter.I'd implore you that is reading this to seek any alternatives if possible as this is only going to last a few days. It is expected from something cheap to be built poorly so I'd recommend to stay away from things like this.

It works...I'm surprised
Bought this to connect an old Wii console to a TV with no AV sockets.I was a little sceptical whether it would work but for the cost it was worth giving it a go.It comes in a clear plastic bag, no instructions, but then you have 3 cables which are colour coded, so as long as you aren't colour blind it's a doddle.Plug into the SCART socket which isn't used for anything else and Wii came straight up.Actually feels quite sturdy, although I have no plan to unplug it.Overall, works with a Nintendo Wii to a Hitachi TV. Clear picture, clear sound. Very happy

Absolutely tripe.
S-video connector bent and completely unusable. Terrible build quality. Audio was barely usable. Shocked something like this was even made. Wouldn't use this if someone paid me! Utter utter rubbish.

Doesn't work
Bought this to connect a snes & ps1 to an old crt. Got sound but no picture. The rca cables work fine when using a standard rca to hdmi converter. The crt works fine too when using a RetroGameCables scart lead, so was able to narrow it down to this adapter
