That's why I started using them, in addition to neuropathy and lymphatic issues (Which is tied to fluid retention). Losing weight and keeps arms from flapping. I used for over a year per therapist recommendations. Due to loss of weight I continue to purchase Bioflect compression products as other brands are not as effective at managing my Lymphadema. Many products claim to be “compression” but in reality they are not as effective or made with the quality that Bioflect products are made. As I lose overall body weight will reorder same products in smaller sizes. They wash well even in washing machine. I avoid putting in the dryer to maintain their shape and elasticity.
