Fayachi "Bipod" (forget the mounts)
The bipod itself just as any Harris Bipod I've ever owned is good to go, no problems. This one sets low just as I wanted. Low bipods are more stable. This bipod does not swivel. The only thing is that the two mounts make absolutely no sense to a person like me that purchased it for a "standard" AR15 with stock handguards. One of the mounts (the one with the round nut) as I see it is ment for a 90 degree sling mount which is ok with a rifle that is magazine fed but you'll have to find some sort of washer set up to use inside of the handguard and also you'll need to widen the vent hole in order for the screw stud to fit down through the guard itself. The other mount is made strictly for picatinney rail mounting. So if your using a stock AR15 hand guard your going to be looking to add a pic rail on the bottom hand guard otherwise you wont be mounting the bipod. So here's my opinion on this purchase. I bought it thinking I'd be ahead of the game because of the 2 mounts that came with it but I was wrong. I paid more money than I could have for an exact bipod without mounts and I'd be in the same situation as I am since I purchased it... I need to convert over to picatinney rails under the handguards of the AR15, sling mounts I don't need either so what your doing here is buying a useable bipod with 2 mounts you cant use for stock ar15 handguards. The nice part about this purchase is that it got here very quickly. No problems either that it states that it's a riflescope did you notice that?,, they actually sent me a bipod and not a scope lol. OK well that's it.
