Syba Parallele PCI-Express-Karte
Preiswerte gute Karte. Tut was sie soll. Unter Windows7 64 bit Installation problemlos. Ein daran angeschlossener alter HP Drucker funktioniert ohne Probleme. Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung. Update: erstaunlicherweise kostete die Karte früher nur 5 Euro..

Works on windows 8.1 64
Its small and compact. Needed to add a parallel for a datamax barcode printer and this did the trick great. Its easy to install and once drivers are installed works perfectly.

Win7 Enterprise 64bit Plug and Play - works great!
** 07/2013 UPDATE -- Win7 Enterprise 64bit Plug and Play - this Best Connectivity / SYBA MCS9900 PCIe-Parallel card works great!Just built a new ASUS Z87-Plus MB / Intel Core i7-4770 Haswell PC to retire an aging and ailing WinXP Pro SP3 32bit, BIOSTAR K8M800 AM2 AGP Parallel-Ported MB, & AMD Athlon64 X2 6k+ 3GHz AM2 CPU'd PC. Since all the new MotherBoards no longer have built-in parallel ports and I wanted to keep using my Workhorse HP Laserjet 5 with 66MB Printer RAM and Duplexer, I transferred this printer card from the below ABIT PC to this new ASUS build. Tested with a new Belkin Bidirectional Parallel Printer cable and it worked Perfectly - Win7 Enterprise 64bit recognized the Printer instantly -- VERY HAPPY! Printer prints as fast as it ever could.** Special note: If the printer is stalling print jobs and/or printing out gibberish, Check connection with a new Bidirectional Parallel Printer Cable - *REPLACE THE CABLE*!!I found that the original, older Belkin Parallel cable worked good with the above BIOSTAR WinXP-32b Parallel-Ported PC, but NO GOOD (Stalled print jobs which yielded gibberish) with the above Win7-64b ASUS PC with the Best Connectivity / SYBA MCS9900 PCIe-Parallel card.I swapped in the above Belkin cable cable and the setup worked PERFECTLY!2012 - WinXP Pro SP3 32bit Plug and Play - works great! Needed to setup an older, but working great WinXP Pro sp3 32b PC (2005 Universal ABIT KN8 SLI Motherboard w/ an AMD Athlon64x2 4200+ Manchester socket 939 w/ 4GB RAM) for print server duty with an old network-shared HP Laser Jet 5 Printer with 64MB Print RAM and a Duplexer. Old motherboard still new enough not to have a parallel port, but did have 3 unused PCIe 1.0 slots. Installed hardware; loaded drivers from the card's setup disc; and WinXP recognized the printer port and the connected HPLJ5 immediately. Works without a hitch! Good practice - Be sure to make a backup copy of the drivers disc (drivers for WinXP, Vista, Win7, and Linux).
