Works like Magic!
I got hit in the face with a rock many years ago, requiring stitches just over my right eye. Ever since then, my eyelid has slowly but surely sagged lower and lower. I am also a very heavy sweater and the sweat rolls right over that saggy eyelid and drips precisely onto my eyeball. The salty sweat then starts to burn my eye and, because I sweat so profusely, wiping it does not good. As fast as I can wipe, new sweat appears and drips right into my eye again. It's to the point now where, if I am doing any of my favorite activities, such as cycling, hiking, Jiu Jitsu, or whatever, after the first few minutes, I end up doing the rest of it with one eye open and the other closed. It's actually really dangerous. I once misjudged turning into a driveway from a road because my eye on that side was closed and I rolled right into a ditch.I recently discovered this Sweat GUTR Sweatband and ordered the (Military/Tactical) version of it. Most of the reviews were positive but some said it's softer and doesn't work as well as the regular version. I don't have a regular version for comparison, but I can say that I went out for a one-hour bike ride today in the 93° Texas heat. I do this same ride a lot, so I know exactly where I have to close that right eye and keep it that way for the rest of the ride. I passed that spot with eyes wide open and thought, "even if I have to close them soon, it's still better than before." However, I completed the entire ride and my right eye never burned. I never had to close it. I was flabbergasted.Don't get me wrong; I sweated profusely. My shirt was soaked. My hair was soaked. My arms and hands were slippery and wet. I could feel sweat running down my cheeks and a tiny bit of it--perhaps originating below the Sweat GUTR--managed to roll down my nose and get just a tiny bit into the inside corner of my eye, but that is the opposite side of where it usually drips right into the eye. My sunglasses also got sweaty and I had to wipe them, resulting it more of a smear than a clean lens, but that was probably sweat from above the Sweat GUTR dripping when I am looking down, and that happens whether I am wearing the Sweat GUTR or not.The only bad thing I can say is that I felt a slight pressure around my head and thought, "if I have to wear this for a long time, it might end up giving me a headache." I didn't actually get a headache, but the pressure made me think I might get one soon. I still have some experimenting to do. Perhaps I just had it too tight and perhaps I can loosen it and it will still work. But that I was able to complete that entire ride and never feel a burning in my eye was extremely satisfying. I wholeheartedly endorse this product.

Keep the eyes clear
I like the channel to keep sweat out of my eyes. After working in the yard my hat is a bit dryer and I don't have to wipe my forehead as much. As much as I like to take a break I have less of an excuse to break.

I sweet buckets
Here in South Florida, there are only a few months with lower humidity. I have tried everything, every sweatband, even 8 sweatbands, it gets saturated in minutes, then I replace it with a dry one, so much hassle. I still have my first gutr from 14 years ago, but found the gutr is just not wide enough, so the sweat streams from the side and then still runs into my eyes and burn them. This gutr is wider and the sweat streams down further to the side - but I still need to be careful how I tilt my head as it can still run into my eyes, but this is the best I've found so far. As an avid gardener, its a must have for me.

Not built for HEAVY sweaters....
I thought these would be the answer to sweat in the eyes during crucial stages of mtb runs...nope...If you are a heavy sweater, sweat seems to sneek under the band rendering it useless. Works great on days you trickle, but days when your pouring forget it. The only thing I could think of the counter this is to tighten it, but then your on a paved highway to headache city....really thought these would work great considering the design and price....sadly no...

Interesting solution to old product issues.
Does decent job of redirecting sweat. Sometimes feels tight. Easily adjustable.

Not what I expected
I think I had much grander ideas of how this would work. I still get product and sweat in my eyes, the band is tight on my head and sometimes gives me a headache. This simply doesn't work, a gym sock wrapped around my head offers more assistance and is less expensive. Not being negative in this review just honest for how it worked for me.

Must have product for heavy sweaters.
Works as described. Designed to divert the perspiration away from your face. Fits securely, and comfortably. Exceptional adjustment variety. Easy to use. Small, lightweight, portable, and surprisingly durable. Works under hats, masks, helmets, etc. There is a vertical rounded channel around the brow that collects the sweat (just like a gutter as the name implies), it is remarkable to see at times how much sweat gets diverted through that channel.I use it primarily for exercise and martial arts training.Excellent product simple design.
