Wonderful Resource
The most enticing aspect of this book (the ebook version) isnt the book itself, but the links inside that take you directly to the audio relaxation guides. The male voice is relaxing, and it is very easy to get into the relaxation mode. The wonderful thing is, there are two options per session: one for when you have more time to invest, and a shortened version when you havent as much. The book basically follows along with the audio for the most part. I highly recommend this book for anyone just needing to regroup and get back in tune with themselves.

Sehr gut und sehr zu empfehlen. Das Hörbuch ist sehr praktisch aufgeteilt. Am Anfang werden die theoretischen Hintergründe gut erklärt und am Ende sind die Meditationen gespeichert. Es wird nie langweilig diese anzuhören. Der Body scan ist in Kurz und Langversion geliedert und perfekt zum Einstieg in jede weitere Meditation. Das Englisch ist in der Meditationsanleitung gut zu verstehen.

Great book and an excellent introduction to a brilliant and transformational practice
I discovered mindfulness last year after being led to it by a medical professional during my recovery from PND.It's been a revaluation for me and this is the 2nd 8-week format book I have followed. The 8-week programme seems to follow a very standard pattern and set of exercises. But when this format works so well, it makes sense.It has subtle differences to the first 8-week programme I followed which was great for gaining that little extra insight into some of the practices with the explanations offering slight differences and expansions upon those in the precious book.As with the other course I followed the guided meditation audios are all downloadable for free and this is really an essential for any mindfulness programme. You need to be guided through the meditations, at least to begin with until you are familiar enough with the practices to do them independently.The added advantage with this course is that there are variations on each main exercise with a full longer version and a shorter version for those people who are short on time too.As with all mindfulness and meditation practices, the more you do it the more the benefits grow and grow. It really has made a positive impact on all areas of my life.Try it, you have nothing to lose and it all to gain. :)
