A very useful prompt collection
The author makes the claim that these prompts will be "thorough and creative" and he's not wrong. The prompts are enough to get you going without being overly detailed--they aren't so in-depth as to stifle your creativity. Nor are they short or generic. They are good ideas, good beginnings, that offer a starting point for writers. We can all go in very different directions with them. I'm trying to work my way through them chronologically (in the order they appear) but I have skimmed ahead and they all seem interesting. I look forward to getting to write for them all.

Nothing to add or put, just say this for those who have a passion with writing or looking to explore it more, suggest you read this!There's nothing in my mind I feel isn't disappointing or whatever since I started reading it!Give props to Mr. Wright!

Not for everyone.
Not what I was expecting. I was hoping for inspiring quotes or how would you finish this sentence type prompts. This is not that. This is more for serious writing than I just want to jot some stuff down.

Not good for poets.
The problem for me with the prompts is that too much information is give which narrows the opportunity for creativity. I wish they were more open ended and not so plot driven. Poets don't necessarily want a lot of plot, and especially a lot of super contrived ones.

Writing Prompts are a Personal Thing - This One Not for Me.
Sorry, but didn't really like it. Some reviews made it sound really great, and I based my purchase on those. However, for me, the prompts were just too far out. Writing prompts are really a very personal thing, depending on your interests. My interests seemed very far removed from these prompts.

CREATIVE writing prompts galore
Great writing prompts! This book IS different from the many other writing prompt books in that the prompts aren't just meant for journaling. You can write short stories with these prompts, and that's awesome.Really great along with the highlighting feature of Kindle.

Not at all my preference in story lines
“To each his own,” they say, and this book of prompts is not my cup of tea. Usually I can find something that interests me in a book of writing prompts but I skimmed through the whole book looking for a fairly normal scenario like I'd write about. Nada.These prompts are all the sensational types. If you write sci-fi, horror, thriller, paranormal, zombies, etc, this book is full of ideas for you. One star from me — I’ll give the writer credit for having a terrific imagination.
