TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It uses a low voltage electrical current to stimulate nerves and effectively relieve pain. It can be used as a drug-free solution for pain relief and an aid to the body's natural healing process by encouraging the body to produce higher levels of natural pain-killers called endorphins. By placing the pads (sticky patches) around the area of pain, electrical signals are sent to that area. Your brain will receive the electrical signals instead of the pain caused by the ailment. This changes your impression of pain. TENS units are used as pain relief and pain control. Our unit is one of the few on the market to include a built-in lithium ion battery that can be recharged from any standard power source, or even a computer USB port. This means that our unit can be recharged at work, at home or on the go, making it more versatile than many other massagers. It can be used 2 to 3 times a day . It is not to be used whilst operating heavy machinery, whilst driving, during sleep or bathing. You can apply the pads on almost every muscle and joint area on your body. Do not apply the massage pads near the heart, throat, front of neck, brain, mouth, eyes, pubic region, bone, any swollen or infected areas or on varicose veins etc... Using bioelectricity technology, the device sends frequency electrical pulses to your muscles through the conductive electrode pads. Your muscles respond to the impulses by contracting and relaxing rhythmically. The contracting and relaxing of your muscles produces soothing massage sensations that are similar to that given by a massage specialist. The sensation of massage is very real. You'll wonder who is administering your massage-but it's just the device! It penetrates muscle group deeper than human hands can. Package Includes: 1 Massager, 6 paw gel pads 4 larger and 2 smaller, 2 electrode wires, 1 massage points manual, 1 power adapter, 1 usb cable, 1 pads holder.
