Fun bottle!
Gotta admit that I am a sucker for nice packaging and this bottle of shampoo has really fun packaging. I really hate having ugly packaging in my bathtub so I’m always happy to see a new brand that puts some effort into their packaging. It’s becoming more common. Yay!But how is the shampoo? It smells heavenly. What I don’t smell is roses, however. I am a perfume collector and rose is one of my favorite notes and I just do not get the rose. This is a great scent, but I can not for the life of me pick out what I’m smelling. If you’re looking for a bright floral scent, this is not it. It is musky. It’s really quite “dark” and makes me think of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid Voile des Fleures. The packaging is so cheery that the fragrance doesn’t quite match. This is definitely a sophisticated fragrance. While I’m describing something dark, it’s neither cloying nor “too much.” Happily, it’s more of a background scent which will work well with wearing perfume. It may, however, be a no-no if you work in a no-scent environment as it smells like perfume, not shampoo. Isn’t that ironic? This is a wonderful scent and one that probably wouldn’t bother anyone, but it’ll get you noticed. If you smell of horrible fabric softener (which is downright poisonous) you won’t have to have a talk with your supervisor about the dreaded no-scent policy! But that’s a rant for another forum, not a product review. How does the shampoo perform? Average. It cleans. It left my hair bouncy and a bit more curly than normal with air drying. It is a bit drying. It’s really neither good nor bad. But the packaging and the scent put it in the above average category. I am loving the scent wafting off my freshly washed hair right now.

Strong fragrance, but doesn’t last
This DUFT&DOFT Pink Breeze Perfumed Shampoo was available to me through the Amazon Vine program. DUFT&DOFT is named for the German and Danish (DUFT) and Swedish (DOFT) words for fragrance. And fragrance it has; a strong smell of peach and pink peony. It would be too much for anyone with fragrance sensitivities.I have tried a few of the DUFT&DOFT products. I noticed their Pink Breeze bottle designs with their pink color and polka dots resemble Victoria’s Secret PINK product labels. In fact, my daughter thought the first product I ordered WAS Victoria’s Secret. The shampoo comes in a pump bottle and was wrapped in cellophane to prevent leakage, which was nice. The shampoo contains ingredients like camellia leaf, tea tree, and rosemary, and supposedly does not contain parabens or harmful chemicals. The ingredients are not listed on this page, so I have “attached” a photo of the bottle’s ingredients listing. The shampoo lathers up nicely and leaves hair feeling clean. Information on this web page states, “It’s so delicious-smelling that you won’t need an actual perfume.” However, I did not find its fragrance to last on my hair. I even had my daughter sniff my hair a few hours after using it, and she did not smell much of anything. Like the other DUFT&DOFT products I have tried, I find this shampoo to be pricey. This shampoo is made in Korea.

better than expected
i have the moisturizer and body wash in this same scent by this brand and i wanted try this so i could use all 3 in the same day to see if there were added benefits from using compatible products by a single brand. overall it’s a nice shampoo and works well with the lotion and body wash. it rinses clean and doesn’t weigh my hair down. it’s gentle on my scalp as well and i’m not left with an itchy head. overall it’s lot better than expected and i enjoy the product. i have long straight hair with dry ends so i’m always looking for shampoos that cleanse without stripping my hair of natural oils and don’t weigh my hair down. this is a decent one for that imo. i have avg hair density and thickness tho, so it may have a different effect on fine hair or curly hair. ymmv depending on your scalp and hair, but if your hair is like mine you’ll probably like it as much as i do!

fragrance weak, doesn't get squeaky clean
I do not feel the fragrance of this is very strong at all. I've had basic store shampoo that had more fragrance then this does. It has a nice scent to it, but it does not at all smell "perfumed" to me.What scent I do detect, does not smell like roses, either. It does lather up very, very, well. I have had to remind myself each time I use it to less then the previous time as it lathers so incredibly well. But after rinsing it off, I cannot get that squeak you get with clean hair. First time I rinsed and pulled on some hair to get the squeak but could not and rinsed again. I then returned to my usual shampoo and did a second wash with that and got the clean squeak after rinsing. I've now tried this five days straight and not once could I get it to rinse out enough to get that squeak

Not sure about the scent but helps with flaky scalp
This is a review for: DUFT & DOFT Pink Breeze Perfumed Hair Shampoo 500ml - Pink BreezeI got the Pink Breeze scent, which is supposed to be 'Romantic Peach and Peony Citrus Scent' though it's more just floral to me. During the shower I also noted some unpleasant almost fishy? scent I'm guessing is the Amber Musk perhaps. It does leave the hair smelling floral-y afterwards and the scent lasts at least a day.It lathers well and doesn't leave my hair too stiff or dry. I can comb my hair without too much issue even without conditioning afterwards.I did notice that my usually very flaky scalp isn't flaky as much after using this shampoo. Overall pretty happy with the shampoo though I wish it was more citrus-y and peachy.
