FINALLY found the perfect combination of a very compact camp chair with a standard fold out. For taller / larger frame folks, this is your chair vs. the low to ground & compact options. This compacts into a small bag half the size or less than a standard folding camp chair. Takes up a lot less space in our Jeep when we are loaded with camping gear. Space is king in a Jeep!

I compared a lot of these camping chairs and found this one specially nice given the minimum assembly required (part articulated, part tent-like structure) and it fits nicely at the bottom of my small car trunk (ND MX-5 Miata).

If you are looking for a well-built, lightweight, easy-to-set-up, easy portability, comfortable (I can rest my head on the back and I am 6 ft tall) camp chair then this one might be for you. It takes no time to set up, weighs about 6 lbs and has a small form factor when carried or stored (not like those large space-hogging chairs that weigh 14+ lbs). I would not take this on a backpacking trip, but that's not what this was designed for, but is rather a travel chair for your car, day hiking or canoe trips. This chair may not be for everyone for its seating style and it doesn't have a cup holder, but that was not a deal breaker for me (the ground works fine for me), it checks all the boxes for me with ease. I do highly recommend this chair if it checks your boxes and deserves more reviews to get recognition.
