Does this work well with Pigeons? I have a spa they wont leave alone

It has 6 settings... OFF, 1,2,3, 4,ON. I wanted to scare a racoon...I set it for 4...high senor. Birds set it off. I am happy with this product...just aim it correctly. It will work on a bird...I suspect on "4" an ant may set it off!!!! But that's what you want in the beginning. I would buy this product again.

Can you adjust the spray range? I just need it to cover an area of 10’.

Has a prop 65 warning, so maybe I shouldn't let it spray water on my vegetable garden, but there's no way to assess the risk, so that's fun. ?

If a device contains any amount of about 900 different chemicals they have to contain that warning. Problem is that there is no threshold for this warning label. Everything in this world is about toxicity not just whether it contains the molecule. If you have too much of anything it can kill you. Too much water, too many bananas etc. This product probably contains PVC which requires the label. On the flip side, PVC is suitable for drinking water inlets. The prop 65 warning may require you to do some research but like most things it was implemented with a good intention but the execution is less then desirable. It's always your choice but personally I spray this over my vulnerable vegetable garden. I am more concerned about bird poop on my veggies then I am about the water that comes out of this sprayer or my garden house. The garden hose that sits in the hot sun probably has more dangerous elements then this sprayer but I'd rather have fresh organic veggies then have them be eaten by critters and have to purchase those veggies at stores.

Does this work at repelling random children?

That depends on whether or not the children enjoy playing in a sprinkler.
