Is this the splash or the balm? And is that product image correct??

What I received is more like a balm. I say it's a balm because the liquid is thick and oozy like hand lotion and not thin and straight-liquidy like Old Spice in the Classic bottle. It's certainly not a gel like Taylor of Old Bond Street After Shave Balm, which might be why folks are calling it a splash. And yes, the image is correct. It's good stuff, too.

can anyone describe the scent on this?

I'd say it almost has an almost medicinal scent. It is not unpleasant nor does it last very long. I do like the product however.
