MehazProfessional Straight Toenail Clipper

I’ve had one for so many years, I love it and it’s easy to clean.

This is an okay toenail clipper. I was expecting it to not rust, but after some weeks have passed I started seeing rust. It is hard to find one that doesn't rust. The finger nail clipper I have doesn't rust and it has been years.

In concept this is a good product for toe nails that may be thick and wide. However, in practice, it doesn't work reliably in the way I believe it was intended. It is hard to tell if the problem is a design mistake or a manufacturing flaw, but the pin that holds it together seems to have a rough spot. As a result, it doesn't open fully when the lever is released, so much of the time the jaws are too close together. Rotating the lever as if to store the clipper, then rotating back to operating position leaves the jaws fully open. If they stayed fully open during use, I think they would be great. Since they don't open reliably, I don't use it and therefore don't know how it would hold up over time.
