A deck that looks great and plays great, with one caveat for potential buyers
Each card has a unique illustration that is restored and reprinted very well. The cards slide and bend just right and feel perfect in play. The illustrations are often clever and charming, but buyers should keep in mind that some of them have racially insensitive depictions of Asian people, of the kind that was typical in advertising imagery of the 1880s when the deck was originally released.

I cannot find the words to describe my love for these cards. As a collector of unique card decks to have even a reproduction of an old advertising deck is a joy! And to have one of the Murphy’s Varnish deck? Simply divine!
