Unexpected flexibility as a bargain price
I am extremely pleased with this tripod. It is easy to operate, flexible and very reasonably priced. My antique tripod served me well but it was limited to pan, tilt and raise/lower (pedestal) adjustments. The JOILCAN adjusts every way I wanted and one way I didn't think of: you can tilt the base to adjust for the ground not being level. There is a small, built-in bubble level. Quick release camera attachment. Aluminum legs with the quick snap releases. I didn't expect a sub-$50 tripod to be this nice, this sturdy and this feature laden.

Too easy to break
I think this is a decent budget tripod, but you must be extremely gentle with it. It only took a light accidental kick of one of the legs as I was walking by the tripod to break one of the bracket that holds the legs steady when the tripod is open. As you can see from the picture, this is a thin plastic part that fits over a metal pin. I would consider spending a little more money on a tripod where this part is all metal.Pros:- tall- stable- extra quick detatch adapter included- adjusts easily- comes with nylon zipper carrying bag- center raise pole slides out and doubles as a monopodCons:- tripod leg brackets poorly designed/fragile- a light kick to a leg can easily break a leg support- a little bit heavier than expected

Exactly What I Expected It To Be
We own a nationwide wedding DJ, photography, and video company. Lately video has become standard in most brides packages so we thought we might want to upgrade some of our video equipment. We also decided that there might be some situations when we need 4 cameras going at once so we needed another tripod for one of our smaller cameras. We also needed the tripod to be high enough to shoot over most peoples' heads. We did our first wedding with it tonight and it performed flawlessly. I did not spread the legs all the way so I got up probably close to 7 feet up. It was a quick setup and it felt very secure for any of our smaller cameras. For the purpose we bought it for this thing is perfect. I must say that I would NOT trust this tripod with my bigger cameras with heavy lenses. It might be able to handle one but it doesn't feel safe to me personally, and I don't take ANY chances with our expensive gear. I have a very heavy duty tripod that goes up to almost 8 feet that I feel 100% confident in for a big camera. Since we only use 1 big camera at a time for video, this new tripod will work nicely with any of our others.

Amazing value for the money
I did a lot of research before I ordered this product. I also had another tripod I owned for 20 years. I finally lost the camera lock small piece, release plate goes on top of the ball and went to the market to find one good tripod. What surprised me the most besides all good things that this product offers is that it included 2 pieces of locking peripheral release plates which i lost on mine. So, basically you can have 2 cameras having that locking peripheral attached on each camera or you can have extra as backup. Then it also includes phone attachment and monopod feature. I am 5 10 and monopod seemed little short. I had to bend over a little to take picture with the monopod but I assume it is designed that way. This product also has angle adjustable feet. It feels very sturdy unless all legs are extended, extends well over my head to 7 8 feet level. But what I figured out that I need to use all leg extensions for my use. I am very happy with my decision to buy this product.

Solid, heavy, well made tripod with extras, feels like a much more expensive item
Large and solid tripod that folds to a surprisingly small format.Love the heft and stability, as well as the size. Legs do not bend, even the thinnest segments. Clasps hold firmly. It's very high when fully extended, great for top-down angles. All the movable parts move smoothly. The only tiny issue I had was that the plastic ring holding the vertical center post extension separated when I lifted this part. If this happens to you, just take out the center post and seat the ring firmly back into its place - it's held by three tabs that may not have been "clicked" into place right. Once I've done it, it stays in place as it should. It comes with a well made bag, an additional shoe and a phone holder. Very happy I chose this tripod, it's a fabulous value for the price.
