ChocoloveCoffee Crunch In Dark Chocolate 3.2 Ounce

Chocolove crunchy coffee is the chocolate I always dreamt for!

This is my favorite chocolate bar and I am so glad I can get it on Amazon for close to $2 a bar instead of paying $3.50 at a local Whole Foods. The Chocolate itself, for those who haven't tried it, has a wonderful full-bodied chocolate flavor that blends perfectly with the coffee. It also has small, but noticeable crunchy bits that I find very enjoyable. The chocolate exposes it best flavor at around 60-65 F, but still is enjoyable at lower temperatures. I have had great success with using this chocolate to make home-made peanut-butter cups, which my SweetHeart raves about when she gets them as a present. However, this does not make good chocolate to make hot Chocolate, as the complex coffee flavors simply don't hold up well. As such, I am unsure of how well this would hold up in baking recipes, but in any cases where you just want to melt, coat, and serve it shines. Be aware that 1 serving (3 squares) of this chocolate is suggested to be equivalent to 1 cup of coffee's worth of caffeine, and I would have to say that I agree with them as having 3-6 squares of this chocolate will certainly give you a jolt (which I like, because I snack on it when I study).At the time of this review this item IS NOT sold directly by Amazon and is only fulfilled by Amazon through 3rd parties. As with any perishable item that you buy on Amazon, buying from a good merchant is key if you want to get a product of good quality and fresh. I bought my Chocolove Coffee Crunch 12-Pack from PocoPay, as they others have already have commented on how the seller gave them fresh chocolate. I bought this in Mid-February of 2016 and when the pack arrived it had a date on the front of September 2015 (5 months ago!). I was concerned, but upon opening the pack I was hit with a fresh chocolate smell and upon inspecting the chocolate bars themselves the "Best By" date was listed for September 2016 (7 Months away). As I will typically eat about 1 bar of chocolate a week, having a 3 month supply of chocolate be fresh for 7 months is more than enough for me, so I was pleased. Please note to store your chocolate bars in a Air-tight container in a cool (preferably dark) place. I store mine in a zip-lock bag in 'Lazy Susan'.

I LOVE this Chocolove dark chocolate with coffee flecks in it. It's not too bitter and not too sweet but just right. The coffee flecks give me that little extra caffeine boost when I need it. It's so hard to find this variety in our local stores, so I decided to order it through Amazon. I was worried it might melt because it's been so hot in California, but the chocolate bars arrived in perfect condition and very quickly. I have enough bars to last a while now. Yum! Highly recommended!

This is the 2nd order of these wonderful coffee chocolate bars from this seller that have the neatest crunch, that Whole Foods quit carrying this exact flavor, irritatingly. AND it finally arrived unbroken this time now that the seller told me to ask Amazon to be the ones to pack it well. I shouldn't have to ask. It should just be done automatically by whoever's shipping it.These are not only a great unique treat, but it helps you stop eating the other bad sugary snacks. The milk chocolate in other candy bars make you gouge yourself with more until you are sick. These with dark chocolate are healthier plus the coffee makes it not boring and only a little makes you just not desire a lot of sugar.I do wish they could put a natural sugar in it to not make it bad for you at all, especially with those trying to lower their blood sugar levels. It should not be hard at all to replace with Xylitol, Swerve, or Erythritol that have low glycemic index and are not artificial.

I like the crunchy texture of the product. Just don't like how long it takes to arrive after ordering. In Texas hot weather the product arrives soft even though packed with an ice pack. It had melted. Too many days in transit. But once at room temperature for awhile it was fine. Wish you could expedite shipping.
