Solid Brass Hose Jet Sweeper Nozzle with Extra Washers

Positives: Hefty, durable, great jet, medium-high pressure output.Negatives: A little expensive.This is what I imagine when I think of a brass jet nozzle. It is a heavyweight brass nozzle that puts out a jet of water without misting or water shooting out to the sides. It worked great for car washing and driveway cleaning. I do not recommend using this on plants unless you are trying to uproot the plants. It even removed some dried up grass from the lawn (oops).

I have had many of these sweeper nozzles that are cheaply made of brass but thin two piece designs that are weak and don't last. Yes they are cheaper but they don't last. I have an old one of these I'm still using and is over 10 years old. This one will be used on my other hoses. This nozzle is ONE SOLID piece of brass that has been CNC machined into this nozzle. It's is top quality, made in the USA, and not cheap junk like the cheaper ones from overseas. The last sweeper nozzle you will ever buy. You get what you pay for.

I purchased these two assist me in cleaning out the downspouts in the gutters. They work great and have perfect pressure. No issues so far. It does have pretty good value for the money. No issues with leakage.

Sweeping grass off the walk

Basic, nothing to break on it, really. At full power, it's basically just a small power washer. We use it for filling water buckets for a small herd of goats. It works great for lightly power washing mud and muck out of the buckets. I attached a small valve just below it that affects the water flow, so I can adjust if it's a power washer or more gentle. I got tired of hose heads and nozzles cracking and breaking. We drop the hose in the grass when we're done with it, the chickens peck at it, and the lawn mower may or may not go over it occasionally. We needed basic.

A little pricey but anything good quality is these days

I live in the desert on the border of the U.S. and Mexico. The solar index here is one of the highest on the face of the planet.This means that anything made of petroleum products (plastic, rubber) die very quickly when used outdoors.I bought this product to build myself an "indestructible" hose head and the product that arrived has not dissapointed.It doesn't leak and is heavy duty, just about the only two things it needs to be.The jet is easily strong enough to clean most dirt off my concrete.What more do you want from something like this?

Well-built little brass squirty nozzle which does exactly what it is built to do and will continue to perform the same task for a long time. You can expect a nice, even pinpoint stream. If you need more of a fan, put a finger in front of it.Sorry, but it completely blows my mind when people berate this product because it isn't adjustable! That's what the little wheel or handle on the wall spigot is for. ...or perhaps kinking the hose?
