I originally purchased this to make "eggo" style waffles for the freezer, if this is your goal I would say this won't accomplish the mission. First of all if your making standard Krusteaz style, or protein Kodiak style waffles, this will consistently make great fresh same size waffles each and every time depending on the consistency of your batter. If your a family, this will crank out 4 waffles every 2-3 minutes, these will cook until it's ready to eat, you like darker crispier ones, let it go for 30-90 seconds more or let the hungry folks pop them in the toaster to get them well done. Freezing them makes more of a hassle, because the toaster doesn't seem to heat them up in the center, now if your meal prepping for 2-3 days out, then what I'm going to do is store these in the fridge in an airtight bag, but really it takes such a short time I will most likely just make these fresh all the time unless I'm taking them to work or somewhere else. Overall for the price a great small appliance.Pro-tip: Use olive oil or vegetable oil spray each and every time, no need to clean after each use, just every other use, use a hot sponge with some power wash and you're good to go. If you get sticky waffles, your not greasing the surface well.
