Cherries, not like cherries.
I ordered these to use in cake. Packaging was really sturdy and solid for a glass jar. While they mention it as maraschino cherries, these are bit different. Preserved in syrup, these taste slightly like regular cocktail cherries however the texture and feel is very waxy. There is very light after taste which resembles little bit like maraschino cherries but not very noticeable. And yes, in between all this, these taste a lot like medicines and foul chemicals. I read this in other review but not sure why I totally ignored that and ordered these. Would suggest everyone to either buy the original ones or go for the basic cocktail cherries in syrup. Buying this will totally disappoint you.

Horrible Taste and A WASTE OF MONEY
Doesn't taste like how cherries are supposed to taste. It has a terrible chemical/metallic taste. Don't buy this!
