Q: I wake up with very shore neck and upper shoulders, does this pillow helps me with my issue. I have tried mypillow but didn't get any good result.

They should be fine. There is a thick plastic bag (which holds the water) on the inside of the pillow and then "pillow " surrounds the bag. So they would have to have very long nails to get through...I would think. Its very sturdy to keep from leaking everywhere so I really cant see a cat's nails puncturing it.
