My dad used to get soap bars from his workplace(SAIL) for washing greasy work outfits. We used to call them soda soaps because they would consist of mainly washing soda and pretty much nothing else. These handmade soaps reminds me of them. The feel of the soap, cleanliness and base fragrance is very similar, except for the added nirol fragrance and these are not harsh for hands.They came pretty well packed, I wish there wasn't plastic packaging but I understand it is to prevent moisture loss. Once the soap is opened it will feel light, not 120gms wt.but it is clearly mentioned that it will lose weight.About cleaning, I am very happy. My reason for buying them is for undergarments and socks. The commercial ones loaded with fragrance and what not, makes undergarments and socks stiff after regular usage. Moreover, I was having trouble with skin irritation/itching.Perfect switch for me. I didn't take picture of before-after washing😅, but I am very much happy with the results. It appropriately lathers, cleans, doesn't melt away and isn't harsh at all.Wish the plastic wrap is of the biodegradable kind and there could be another fragrance than this one. For me the price is justified, I will buy again for sure.Update: 03/08/2021I am a repeated buyer of this product, don't think will replace it anytime soon. Buying larger packs is cost effective so win win. And i am very glad that this time there was wax paper wrap instead of plastic😌.

1. These soaps are not as harsh on the skin as regular detergent soaps. That ws the main reason for opting for this.2. It gives good lather & cleans clothes well.3. Lather rinses off completely on rinsing. It's the most satisfying aspect of using this soap. So too much water is not wasted in rinsing.4. Washed clothes are softer after drying; regular detergents would leave the clothes stiff after drying.5. Fragrance of the soap is mild. On drying, there is no lingering fragrance in the clothes. I am okay with it.

I have ordered set off 3 soaps and I received one extra I think it's a compliment from them.I just wanted to try out something natural for my baby clothes, instead of all the Fancy laundry items which has harsh chemicals.I used the soap for hand wash my baby clothes and it does not give a very great smell after the wash, but you can feel the freshness. While rinsing it does not require so much of water two times of rinsing is more than enough for all the foam to wash away. Unlike other commercial soaps we can be sure that there won't be any foam left out even after lots of rinsing, which was the best part. The soap is soft like a bathing soap and will get over soon.The only issue I had was with the scent, it has some kind of herbs smell which would not be liked by all people. But after wash you will only feel the freshness on clothes.The cost is very economic and I would like to thank Wellspring for the product.

Wonderful effective product. Nirol soap was used in my village when I was a kid and was looking for a good Nirol soap. This soap does its job perfectly. Highly recommended.May feel expensive to some.

This soap is amazing with colured clothes. I used Naulakha almost all my life as was told by mom not to use rin on coloured clothes. Accidentally switched to this as naulakha was not available during the lockdown. This accidental discovery is such a boon. Soap work like miracle on clothes. Easier to use, scented and easy on your hands. My hands are not becoming dry and rough using these.

Value for money, soft on hands. I am so glad amazon has such sellers providing quality product. I was looking for this product for baby clothes and results are very nice

The soap is good but the price being charged here is double the price. That needs to be reduced.

It's an excellent organic and hand-made Laundry soap.Wellspring ( Badri Chemicals ) must continue this good quality product for everyone in India.
