I can't recommend this brand TCP. I purchased in July used for 2 months it failed and flashing i replaced it with an incandescent bulb that works fineI tried this blub in other receptacles around the house and it flashes in all of thoseReplacement window is only 30 days

I couldn't find this bulb at Home Depot or Lowe's. I found it here.

Bought these as a direct replacement to the same brand homebuilder installed. Should have lasted many years, but they do not last more than a couple of months, then they flicker

The first set of this brand lasted maybe a year, when we were told it would last several years. The second time I replaced a few of the lights it only lasted 5-6 months. I will be trying a different company, these are too expensive to only last a few months.

Bought a new house 8 months ago that was fitted with these bulbs in nearly every room. Starting the day we moved in, we've had numerous failures where they either start flickering wildly or just go out altogether. The picture is the 3 I just had to replace in the porte-cochere today. I thought something was wrong with the breaker or the light switch as they all just stopped working. Never would have guessed all 3 bulbs could fail at the same time, but that's what it was. Replaced the bulbs and problem solved. Needless to say I didn't go back with the same brand.

We decided to replaced all of the recessed lighting in our home with these bulbs. Although advertised as lasting 25,000 hours or five years, in fact they only last a few months at best. We have had to replace 75% of the bulbs (over a hundred) within the first year. Time to find another, higher quality brand. Do not waste your $$ on these. Not worth it.

I purchased a case of these from my local energy company promoting lowering energy bills. Two have already quit working. TCP makes it as difficult as possible to get a replacement. Receipts and return required. The postage cost more than the bulb at $6.00 each. The bulb was in a closet with probably less than 3 hours on it. Well short of the 25000 hours advertised.
