Mail is safe and secure
I purchased the dVault full service Vault because of the increase mail theft my neighborhood. I previously notice a mail thief walk straight up to my mail box and grab my mail. Since the purchase I can rest knowing that my mail will still be there when I get home from work.

5 Star, but with observations
The product arrived promptly and as described. We built a 20 inch square concrete pad. It would have worked better to wait for the box and use a template to preinstall anchor bolts. You can install anchors in existing cured concrete. The out going mail space will not take an 8.5 inch wide flat mailer without bending. Also there is no way to send a package except to set it on top.The incoming mail slot is wide and larger items can go in the package drop. The incoming mail space is separate from the package drop space, so it is possible that mail will fill it if left awhile. The mail person could still put it in the drop slot.Overall happy, solved our problem.Note: Price increased 50% soon after I ordered it.

great mail box
We installed this at our house almost 4 years ago. There had been a lot of mail thefts in our area. This still looks new after all these years and works great. The mailman can leave packages in the bottom and mail in the top. We don't have to worry about someone taking the mail or especially packages if they were left out in the open at the door. We were a little hesitant to purchase because of the price, but after 4 years of hot arizona sun, the finish is still in great condition.Update: We purchased this in early 2007 and it is now almost 10 years old. We haven't needed to do much to it other than occasional maintenance such as cleaning dust out of it and a little touch up paint where a neighbor boy scratched it with his bicycle. It is still going strong and we love the security. We can go away for 2 weeks and everything fits inside with no needing to stop mail, which doesn't always work when there are substitute carriers. It has been the most durable box we have owned as the lower cost ones don't last this long.

The mailbox was great but I was hit with an extra $164.65 for shipping
I loved the box. Keeps the packages dry and secure for my office. But, for some reason, the shipping from Amazon did not cover it. I received another bill from FedEx Freight for $164.65. It was not a huge deal, but it was a surprise.

Only quality curbside box on the market.
My wife and I live in a suburban-inner city neighborhood with curbside mail delivery, and since we travel a lot, putting mail on hold has become a routine hassle. Start-stoppping the mail on schedule is hard. So, when I installed a gated entrance to our property, I decided it was time to get a mail drop that allowed access from inside the gate, as well as drop outside. Obviously, we also wanted a weather tight box capable of holding at least a couple of weeks drops of mail and small packages. No other mail box sold on the internet matches this demand. Dvault is it! The one mistake I made was purchasing the sand colored box, which tended to show itself too much within the view of the house to road. We have black iron gate and fencing, so I painted it black to blend in. I may eventually glue slate tile of the same sort we have around the property, to protect indefinitely the steel construction from potential rust.

It's well built but I had some surprises
So $1500.00 for a mail box. Insane price however, it's made in America and we need more of that these days. I figured this was a one and done purchase. It arrives in good condition and was packaged well. The build quality is good and it looks great on the outside. I noticed on the inside of the outgoing mail slot some weld points on top of the powder coat. I guess quality control could be better so I asked for some copper vein touch up paint. After about three weeks of stumbling for a solution they said they can send me a replacement mail box because shooting some paint into sample jar is impossible. I said that won't work for me as the box is already mounted. Then they closed the chat. A week later I received a bill from FEDEX for shipping almost $90.00. Wait a minute, shipping is free so why is this Company passing this bill onto me? I am thankful for Amazon as they refunded the shipping amount and added an additional $15.00 to cover me buying a can of hammered copper paint from LOWES. I was not impressed with Dvaults customer service however, I was impressed with Amazon's customer service.

Quality and security
The dVault full service vault is truly that. Not just a mailbox, but an extremely sturdy, secure mailbox and parcel drop. The clean looks go totally with our mid-century modern home. This is not a mailbox/parcel drop for the weak kneed, it is expensive, but in my opinion totally worth it.When FedEx Ground was giving me issues with delivery, the dVault representative took charge and escalated to their Fed Ex account rep for additional assistance.I would highly recommend this unit.
