I have rain gutters in front of my garage, so regular flag holders...including theseJetlifee Multi-Position Flag Pole Bracket...won't work if I want to hang my flag at 30-45 degree angle. Basically, I cut 2 six inches of 2x4 wood and screwed them on the facia boards so my flag holder will clear the gutter. Be sure to paint the studs to protect the wood. The holder has held up well in the heavy rain and wind although it does move a little...the holder itself, not the wood attachment.

It didn't include a base; but it showed it with a base, which is false advertising. The telescopic pole, albeit a great idea, is shoddy craftsmanship. HOWEVER, the flag itself is absolutely beautiful. That's why you got the better rating - just because of the craftsmanship of the flag. Really hated having to buy the base separately when I found out I had no way to put it up.

So the diameter of the pole is too large to slide into the base holder on my deck post, probably going to return it which sucks since it was of nice design and quality, should probabaly add details as to the what size diameter the base of the pole Is to see if it fits into the holder.

Only just mounted flag pole holder so will need to see how it holds up! Looks sturdy, easy to mount

I needed A heavy duty bracket first one that came with my wonderful flag was not strong enough. When this one came it was a tiny bit small we took a piece and adapted it. It is so strong and just what we needed for such a big pole and flag. I give it 5 stars! Plus a wonderful value!
