I just purchased the Lichamp LED Camping Lantern to have on hand for power outages.I put some batteries in them to make sure they work and the lantern's brightness was impressive, lighting up the room easily without being harsh on the eyes. Great to have for camping, power outages or weather phenomenon's. I'm stock piling my fema prepping list and this was a good buy for my list and this gives us each one lanterns to have so we're not always going after the other person's lantern. They let off a lot of light and are recommended. Just make sure to have 4 - AA batteries for each one.

Great lanterns. Come in a variety of fun colors. I love pink, so of course bought them. Very bright and can almost light up the entire room. Have handles to easily carry them around. The one downside is you have to buy the batteries. Most items you do, but a dozen needed in total for all four lanterns. It’s worth it. They do their job!

These are super bright and illuminates a big room nicely. Great for power outages to take along everywhere. Good quality and easy to use. Simply add your 3 AA batteries and lift to desire brightness. Hard plastic with metal carry handles. Nice dark grey color. Haven't used them outdoors, so not sure how waterproof they can be. Otherwise, completely recommend.

I have not owned many lanterns but I'm very big into flashlights in general. Though I do prefer a lantern that takes AA's along with 18650 housing so I can have dual battery capabilities, this lantern definitely fit the bill in every other category. I will still be on the market searching for what I am looking for when it comes to 18 6 50 battery capability. But when it comes to a lantern that only takes AA, low cost, and simple at best this lantern does very well. It is lightweight, it is easy to carry and compact like most retractable lanterns. I'm assuming the bulb in this is a Cobb bulb it is extremely bright and it looks like one that I've seen before. You do also have a small compartment up top that locks into place "lefty loosey righty tighty". The metal handles do tend to wabble around a little bit but for the money I think it's very hard to come by something that is better. Construction seems to be very generic and standard And it's not gonna fall apart in your hand but I would definitely not recommend dropping it too hard but it seems like it could handle a basic fall. I am very impressed with this product and I will be purchasing another set soon. So if you're looking for a good quality for a good price lantern that just has a great light distribution; get this product. I am sure you will be happy. Anyone is looking for a good battery life with any standard lantern I personally have had great experience after testing with specifically the Energizer max AA battery.
