No, not directly because of its flashpoint. Indirectly, you can use it by starting a fire with your flint strike fire starters and using the flame to light a lamp wick as you normally would. How many ounces of smokeless liquid candle paraffin lamp oil would I need for to burn for 25 hours?

I have no idea. I just use mine in a lamp when the power goes out. The last time power was out for two hours and I probably used one ounce or less.
