7 Scent Sampler Wood Incenses with Holder

I really enjoy this incense a lot. I don't use the little holder, I just put a lit piece in a lantern and the smoke "billows" out. It is fairly strong, but not overly so. I like to burn it while I diffuse essential oils. It adds a wonderful, wood-smoke smell to the air. When I run out I will purchase again.

Great intro pack to all these bricks have to offer. You get to smell test each one to see what you like, but that’s not hard since they all smell amazing.

While I'm sure these bricks will have an excellent scent, sadly the 70 piece sample box appeared to have been sampled prior to being posted to me... the hickory samples have I think 5 missing with others broken, and the fir balsam has 6 bricks missing. Not good for an expensive set!

The scents are square. The provided holder is round. Try to fit a square scent into a smaller round holder.

If you're after the sweet, smoky, natural aroma of authentic fired woods, this venerable brand of incense from New Mexico is for you. Close your eyes and you'll be transported to the cabin, canyon, pueblo, campfire or cozy hearth of your choice! The little bricks take some practice standing up; the included ceramic burner in my box has a round hole, not square, which makes it a bit wonky, so I just used my own--a very minor nitpick. And while the bricks don't burn as long as typical cone incense, that's a good thing--they're a bit smokier and the aroma clear and strong. I found them easy to light and wonderfully fragrant; as of this review I've finally tried all the varieties, and none disappointed! Pinyon is new to me and might be my fave for now, and the Balsam Fir was wonderful for Christmas. I don't think I will burn through this generous sampler too quickly, so the price was worth it to me. Neat presentation / packaging, too!
