I ordered citric acid to descale my kettle and it did an amazing job with zero effort. A cheap and organic way to perfectly remove limescale, and comes with precise instructions for various uses (including descaling).

Great product for descaling water bottles and flasks
I bought this to descale my work flask, and two teaspoonfuls added to boiling water worked a treat and no chemical aftertaste. It is also good for kettles as well.
