This is a great tool for a floor-layer and where I worked, it was the only divider to use. Others have also commented about the price, but I'd like to put that into perspective. I bought mine in the '80's and it is still a valuable tool for me. Even if I paid the current price for this tool, say $55.00, and I bought it in 1985, and I've had it since then, 33 years, this tool costs me $1.67 per year! Wished all my purchases worked like that.
