Smaller than I imagined.
This is a good product. However, the sizes of the pieces are considerably smaller than I would like. I have seen similar items in a school supply store. They were a lot larger than this item. I probably won't purchase anything like this on line again.

Very nice teaching kit for toddlers.
This Giggles Montessori Math & Montessori Reading for Toddlers kit is made with very good quality materials and is appropriately colorful to help engage toddlers in learning. As most any preschool or early primary teacher will attest, manipulatives like the colored counting sticks along with the + - x = and division signs are a great hands on way of helping early learners experience arithmetic. Integrating the number tiles at the appropriate time will help establish a link between the manipulatives and numbers. A great way to start with a kit like this is to have it at the ready when a "counting" issue presents itself so you can capitalize on that learning moment and use the manipulatives as "helpers" at that moment. Depending on the child, some kids may benefit from simply playing with the manipulatives and then the parent can capitalize by counting and using the number tiles to first teach the identification of the numbers as they correspond to the colored sticks and then begin introducing addition and subtraction. Good stuff. As far as the reading component of the kit goes, the word sticks with the rotating letters are robustly made and will, when your learner is ready, enable you and the child to pronounce the words as they appear and then rotate the vowels and consonant letters to produce related words, especially rhyming ones. The "match game" picture/word cards can be introduced as a simple match game and then move on to identifying the card words and pictures to the corresponding words on the word sticks.Looking at this kit in its totality, you really are getting a fine bang for your buck. If properly cared for, the items in this kit may be ready to help the younger siblings down the road. Strongly recommended!

Wonderful math tools
I buy a lot of STEM items for my children so I can have one on one with them. My 6 year old absolutly loves these counting tools. She sits and just explores. I work with her on how to use them and we make games out of it. Of course if you're buying this for a child who doesn't understand not to put non food items in their mouths this is not the product for you, if you're not willing to help your child understand how to use these tools then this product is also not for you but for those willing to invest in your child's future I highly recommend this product.

Great for a toddler
This kit was so much smaller than I expected it would be. You can see the business card in comparison to the box and the letter spinners. There are 12 colored sticks for each color. Each picture card has a duplicate, I’m not quite sure why. Each one is perforated. Again, I’m not quite sure why. There are no instructions on how to use it. I like that the letter spinners are essentially a rattle with the cubes that spin around it. So that seems durable like it will be able to be used for more than one child.I understand how to teach the math but I wish there was some type of suggested instructions on how you’re supposed to use the picture cards.

Daughter gives this 5 stars
My daughter can be very critical -- especially when it comes to things she uses to homeschool my grandson. But she is very impressed with this. Gives it 5 stars. This is what she says: The ones that have words together are super nice cause the ends don’t remove so there won’t be any lost pieces. The box it comes in is very nice too to keep it in place when not in use. The colors make it inviting to you young kids.

Cheaper elsewhere
This product is cheap and I have seen it on Aliexpress for about $10. Was quite disappointed when I realised it had come from there. It isn't fantastic quality and it did cost quite a bit.
