It definitely makes me feel less paranoid. Most of the camera's settings are adjustable as well, thought not all of them. I would have liked to have been able to have the ability to zoom in and out, but having the ability to change the white balance and exposure, among other things, is good too. I also really appreciate the extra privacy covers that were included in the order. The extra security was a nice surprise! I don't have much to say regarding the quality of the microphone, as I only use this camera for picture, not sound. However, during a call with my partner, the microphone I normally use cut out and Discord switched to this camera's microphone. Camera is light weight, easy to setup, and good, clear image. Speakers pick up sound well. Haven't confirmed if they are good at cancelling background noise. Nice that it comes with a tripod for alternate options to use. Cord is long enough to go to TV monitor and camera can sit in front of TV. It would be nice if there was more movement where the camera attaches to the base. Not much ability to adjust angle or direction.
