Got these to paint up for wargaming and they were exactly as shown in the pictures. The figures are pretty well detailed and accept paint well. About a third of these figures are grenadiers, which is good variety but means fewer poses for each troop type. There are some annoying seams and flash, and some figures lack detail in places, but overall the poses are all good and they look good painted up. Italeri's later set improved upon a lot of the points I've mentioned, but unfortunately those are also too large to be used alongside most others, so this is probably the best set of 1:72 Austrians you'll get for your money.

I knew this figures from the 80's, but the sculpting and moulding are still awsome.

Peccato che amazon incredibilmente ha ritenuto di inviarmi il prodotto acquistato senza nessun imballaggio e con la etichetta recante il mio indirizzo incollata direttamente sullo scatolino contenente i soldatini. Zu jener Zeit war der Raupenhelm sowohl im deutschsprachigen Raume (Österreich, Bayern, Württemberg und Baden), als auch beim russischen Zaren sehr beliebt und ,,groß in Mode". Aus diesem Grunde läßt sich aus den Soldaten mit Raupenhelm ganz leicht ein- in meinem Falle- badisches Linien=Kontingent aufstellen: Die Uniformröcke in Preußischblau und die Kragen, Ärmelaufschläge und Rabatten in der entsprechenden Regiments=Farbe (rot, gelb, etc.); aus jenen mit der Fellmütze ein Kontingent der Garde. Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen!
