Excellent for modeling
I use to make some metal modeling kits. It’s excellent. If you like to assemble metal model kits, that’s your best tool.

These little tools are great and do more than you expect
These are a must have for the metal model kits. I love that they have the slot in the end of the rod to be able to turn pieces into a cone shape or start the angle off and then use the round rods to roll the shapes. For the price they are perfect for what I needed.

This was just what my son needed to build his metal earth kits. He says this made it so much easier!

Pretty decent set of tools
Got this to do Metal Earth kits with kids for Christmas. Worked perfectly. Even has a twister for tabs that get twisted rather than bent. Flush snips were sharp and well aligned and the bending mandrels are well-machined. Snips should be nice for 3D prints as well.

Some pieces very useful and others not so much
I bought this kit mainly for putting together Metal Earth and similar metal models so my review centers around that context.The two slotted rods (one tapered round rod and the other a long rectangular piece) were the most helpful. The tapered slotted rod made it easier to bend or twist tabs in some cases (not all). The rectangular slotted rod was handy to bend longer pieces with resulting in nice corners.The snip was Ok, but I had to grind it down to effectively cut the triangular fastener points otherwise it was too thick to fit in the small cutting clearances.I was disappointed with the tweezers. The quality was so-so. I moved back to using tweezer pliers.The tapered rod set I haven’t used at all. The diameters are just too small for shaping anything I have put together.

BleOne of the pliers arrived bent up and unusable but the rest is okay to do the metal models I bought this for.
